This is a very high quality, strong and water resistant large grocery bag that has many uses. We use it for hauling mail, personal items, food and groceries from our garage to the house, trash and many as needed uses. We could not operate without them. We recommend them highly. They are the best!JohnI've started to do a lot of down sizing, and I needed some nice bags to put donations in. I've used these primarily to store clothes and clothes from my own closet, but I have also used them to store lots and lots of kids shoes and a few miscellaneous kitchenware items. For the most part, the bags are hefty and reliable for this purpose. I have managed to rip two of them, but it was more about me having too much in them (books and other heavy items) and getting them caught on the door frame than anything. I have purchased a second set to continue using them for the same purpose. And, the ones that I tore, I taped up and used anyway because hey - it's donations and I don't need the bag to be pretty, just functional.I use them to put my recycled in before taking them to the recycle bin!Very versatile bag! Perfect for liner for large sized paper shredder; I just fold the handles down on the outer side of the bag and when shredder is full, I take the bag out and tie the bag using the handles and toss in the recycle bin. I and my grandchildren will decorate the outside of bag with drawings or decorate with other craft items for using as personalized gift bags! The bags are heavy duty and I use them to carry pot luck dishes and other items to church or work functions.I purchased these to donate to our local library to use for a used book bag sale. People could fill them for a small price & will get a discount if they return to the next book sale with the bag. I was surprised by the amount of books they could hold given their seemingly flimsy feel. We sold a lot of bags & were very happy with this purchase! Very good price, we felt.This bags are great for my needs but they are thinner than I expected. Thinner than a paper grocery bag.We grow a large garden and once I finish with all my canning and preserving we still have a lot of produce left over. As I pick it from the garden I give it all to friends and coworkers. I used plastic bags last year and the vegetables just don't hold up well in plastic bags all day. I bought these to put the produce in to carry them to work and it is just what I needed, they work out great and I love the handles1I use these mostly for my recycling.
