This scissor mouse makes trimming posters a breeze. I highly recommend it.This is quick to cut heavier paper with and the guide lets you follow line perfectly but doesn't seem to like lightweight paperI use this to cut HTV & decal vinyl. It works like charm! Every crafter needs one!The scissor mouse works great with thicker paper. You have to make sure you press down on the mouse as you glide it along the paper. Thinner paper, like recycled wrapping paper, tends to bunch up and tear when trying to use the scissor mouse. Overall, I was really happy with the product though!I was hoping to find a better way to cut Christmas wrapping paper than scissors. Unfortunately, this item was not it. is is a bit difficult to get the paper started in the correct place on the device and then as you move the device forward, the table surface must be perfectly clean and smooth. The slightest bump will cause the paper to start tearing. This ended up just sitting on the table while I used scissors. My search continues...A friend recommended a scissor mouse to me, so I ordered this Westcott one. I was hoping to make cutting wrapping paper easier. Well, this did not do the trick. I had trouble manipulating it on the wrapping paper, so I did a lot of ripping, instead of cutting. But, then I tried it on poster paper, as I make a lot of posters. Voila! I still had a little trouble adjusting the mouse, but it cuts thick paper so well! Now, I'm glad I have it.Complete waste of money! Does not cut paper rips it!Never worked correctly. I had one before so I know this one was defectiveGreat Item
