My son landed his first major role as Edna Turnblad in his school's production of Hairspray. He's a tall guy at 6'2" so we weren't expecting a perfect fit but, for the price, we decided to give it a try. It wasn't a perfect fit, as it was a little short, but it did the job. We did cut small slits into the top layer of fabric so we could add padding to the bust and stomach, as the design is more "droopy" for an old woman look, but that was simple to do and that small adjustment made this perfect for him.
