Dissolvo is a unique water soluble paper that looks and feels like ordinary paper. Ask your audience if they have heard of the Bermuda Triangle and how planes and ships would vanish when they entered the area. After assuring your audience that you have a glass of authentic water from within the mysterious triangle, proceed to make a paper airplane and a paper boat (origami lessons not included). Drop the paper into a clear bowl of water, and watch it disappear! You can also write, print, stamp etc., on Dissolvo. To dissolve, immerse it in water and with one swish, it is gone without a trace. Works faster in warm water, slower in cold. A classic use for ministry is to have a spectator write one of his sins on the paper, and then put it in a clear glass and cover it with water. As the water is poured back and forth from one glass to another, the paper vanishes before everyone's eyes. A very powerful and dramatic effect. 25 sheets, 4 1/2" x 2 1/2"
25 sheets of dissolving magic paper
Each sheet measures 4 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Dissolves in hot or cold water (effect is faster in warmer water)
Original product info said nothing about water soluble paper. More flash paper.I tested this out in both room temperature and hot water. With the hot water, the paper broke into two pieces within 20 seconds or so, but then did not dissolve. For up to 2 minutes, you could still see the entire paper. I did several tests and If I swished the bowl or stirred the water with a spoon, the paper did break up immediately and then dissolved quickly without leaving very much noticeable residue. I used this for a Kid's Ministry illustration about Jesus taking our sin away. I had the kids write "sin" or a specific sin on the paper. Then, they put it in the water and stirred and said a simple prayer while stirring. I was happy with the result of the paper disappearing even though I had originally expected it to disappear on it's own.JumkI used these for a releasing ceremony. We wrote on them with ball point pens. I used room temperature water. The papers dissolved quickly with a little stirring. It left the water cloudy at first and then the dissolved paper settled to the bottom. We put in 47 sheets on top of each other one by one and they slowly started to dissolve. With a little stir they totally dissolved and you just have looking water. It works great for what we need it for.The paper worked very well although it didn't dissolve quickly without agitating the water a bit. As soon as I began stirring the water slightly, it dissolved beautifully.smooth transaction. paper came smaller than expected. tried and tested and paper actually does dissolve! i like how the paper doesn't just dissolve straight in contact with water but takes a little longer so you can see the affect of it dissolvingThe only problem is that it takes longer to disolve than Iam used to.
